Every box coming into our records center & every shelf location gets a unique bar-code placed on it. From the moment we pick up your records, we use bar- code based handheld scanners & O’Neil (R)Software to track the movement of your record from your office to the shelf location in our secure records center. This bar-code is scanned each time the item is touched, and this allows for proper chain of custody for your records.
Once your box reaches the shelf location, your box is scanned to that shelf location. This allows us to quickly & easily retrieve an item whenever you request it from storage.
With our bar-code tracking software & database, we can provide you detailed reports about your items in storage that will help you manage your data much more efficiently.
